Karlos discovered his love for music at a
very young age, he’d often watch the musicians play at the
Pentecostal church his family attended for years, He never had
music lessons at school but developed a keen ear for music by
the age of 10.
His older brothers formed a band called
‘Paradise’ and often he’d just sit and watch
them play and rehearse, There was no more instruments to play
in the band so he started playing bottles and tins which over
the years eventually morphed into percussion, Whilst attending
school Paradise had a hit single and got to 42 in the national
charts, By the age of 15 Karlos fell in love with the band
Earth,Wind and Fire and studied their style and sound for
years to come.
After leaving school Karlos was destined
for the music industry and secured his first major tour aged
19 with Aztec Camera, Since then Karlos has learned to play
